Each pet is welcomed with a personal note from the hotel’s general manager which includes a listing of pet services available at the hotel including a map of the area with dog-walking routes highlighted. Also, every dog or cat receives welcome gifts such as a name tag, bowl, or special treats. To show you how much Loews loves pets, there is a pet room-service menu, along with a list of local pet services, veterinarians, groomers and pet friendly attractions. In the guest room is a special amenity that includes special pet place mats with food and water bowls, toys and treats, and a “pet in room” sign that lets housekeeping know that a pet is in the room.
Pet walking and pet sitting services are available through the hotels’ concierge desks. Pet owners are asked for a cell phone number that enables the hotel staff to contact them immediately in case of emergency. Loews Hotels also loans its guests necessities such as various sized dog and cat beds, leashes and collars, and even pet videos. Kitty litter boxes and litter, pooper-scoopers and a selection of pet toys (such as rawhide bones, catnip and scratch poles) are also available for purchase.
A fee of $50 per night with a maximum of $150 per stay will be applied at check-in. You must have a health certificate for each pet, obtained from a veterinarian within 10 days of the pet’s arrival and it must be presented upon check-in at the hotel. Pets are not allowed in the pool/lounge or restaurant areas.

KENNEL
If you prefer your pet socialize while you are at the theme parks, you can bring them over to the kennel located at the CityWalk multi-level parking complex (first floor of the JAWS parking garage, all the way in the back corner).
The accommodations vary from air-conditioned indoor cages for cats and small dogs to outdoor cages for big dogs. Guests must provide food and return periodically to walk their pet. Outside the kennel door is a shaded, mulch covered area where you can walk your dog. Or, venture behind the kennel to a large grassy knoll. There are poop bags for the taking at the area with the mulch, but none in the grassy area, so be sure to grab some if you head out there. Trash cans are located near the entrance to the kennel for disposal.
The cost to board is based per pet, per day and at press time was $15 per day. Premier Annual Passholders will receive 50% off per one pet per day. The passholder must be present at time of check-in. There are no overnight stays at the kennel.
Proof of the following vaccinations are required before boarding your dog or cat:
Dogs: Rabies, Bordetella and D.H.P.P.
Cats: Rabies, Calicivirus, Panleukopenia and Rhinotrachetitis
All of the shots must be listed along with expiration dates.
All dogs weighing 39 pounds and more will be boarded in an outside kennel. The outside kennels are completely covered and there are fans. The outside cages are 7′ x 4′ and made of chain link fencing with a cement floor.
All cats and dogs weighing 38 pounds and less will be boarded in an inside kennel with A/C. The kennels are 3′ x 2 1/2′ and have solid metal sides, top and bottom with a chain link front.
You may bring food, blankets and toys to make them feel at home. The kennel attendant will supply water and a clean and safe kennel.
The kennel does not take reservations and is on a first come first served basis, opening at 8:00am. The kennel is locked and unattended two hours after the last theme park closes. However, dogs and cats can stay at the kennel until 3:00am (1 hr. after CityWalk Closes). After the kennel is locked, you will use a phone that is located outside of the kennel and security will come by to assist you.
If you are arriving at the Kennel from an offsite location let the attendant at the parking booth know you wish to kennel an animal and they will inform you where to go. You will have to let the second attendant (just past where you paid) know as well. The area you will be parking in is normally reserved for buses. Drive to the end of the lot and the kennel is located on the left. Leave your car parked in this area, moving it will not save you any time anyway.
Guest(s) should plan to return to take their pet for a walk at least once during the day.
Call (407) 224-9509 for prices and more information. The kennel fax number is (407) 224-9516
